There is no forex licensing in Canada, and we are not required to obtain a security license if no Canadian clients are solicited or accepted for opening of trading accounts.

NovaForex carrying on business as an online Forex Dealer for foreign investors adheres to the Personal Information Protection of Electronic Documents Act (Canada) (hereinafter the "Act").
As a Forex Dealer, NovaForex is required by law to collect from individuals personal information such as: name, date of birth, addresses, occupation, and a copy of federal documents. Personal information supplied to NovaForex is confidential and NovaForex will not sell or in any way distribute such information provided to NovaForex to any third parties unless authorized to do so by the individual or as required by the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Center of Canada (FinTRAC) or other applicable regulations.
NovaForex is also required by law to be sensitive to "suspicious activities" and "suspicious transactions" which activities and transactions NovaForex must report to FinTRAC and NovaForex must be sensitive to terrorist activities of individuals, entities, and countries identified by the United Nations and other national and international agencies.
